TRESemme x Misha Nonoo for Snapchat Show
On September 7th at the start of New York Fashion Week, Misha Nonoo presented an edit of her Fall 2016 collection by revealing a “live lookbook” on Refinery29’s Snapchat account.
She collaborated with a team of female creatives from around the globe to bring the concept to life. Pairing Snapchat’s native functions with mobile photography, video, illustrations, and artwork, Nonoo became the first fashion brand to create a live lookbook exclusively on the platform.
TRESemmé’s New York Fashion Week Ambassador, Chris Naselli, created a textured hair look that was modern, lived-in, and effortless for both work and play.
When revealing his process Naselli explained, “I first applied a few drops of Botanique Damage Recovery Oil Elixir from the mid-shaft of the hair through to the ends. Next, I rough dried the hair to create natural looking body and movement. Then, I made a center part to work in the natural texture.”
Once the hair was prepped, he used a heat activated tool to finish off the style. “With a 1.5 inch curling iron I pulled one inch sections of hair at random from the crown of the head to create zig zag bends,” Naselli said. “After the whole head was complete, I separated the zig zag sections with my finger tips and generously spritzed on Botanique Nourish & Replenish Hydrating Mist for texture and added shine. Spray a light mist of your favorite TRESemmé hairspray to finish the look.”
